Title: Honey Has Gone To The Bridge

Our beautiful Honey has just gone to the Bridge  :'( :'(
Her little heart was giving up........
The house is now so empty, I can't believe I will never be able
to hold her in my arms again  :'(
Megan is going to be lost without her too.
sorry have to go too many tears...

Thank you all for your kind words of comfort, Bill and I are heartbroken, Honey would have been 12 years old
on Nov 4 th
 Megan is wandering around looking for her but not to distressed at the present time, so hoping
she will not pick up on our feeling to much,
 It came as a shock as last week as she was not to bad, until 3 days ago and then she went down hill fast and
she lost interest in everything.This morning  David our vet came and stayed with us for a long time
 ( he had tears in his eyes also as she was one of his favorite's ) and said it was her heart
not working well and even with med's it was only a matter of a very, very short time before she would start to feel pain.
we could not let that happen to our sweet loving girl,
 It has helped me to be able to talk to you all about her,
I know we did the right thing BUT my does it hurt.

My darling Ellie was also 11 when I lost her.  Her birthday was also the 4th November. 

I so hope Ellie and Honey find each other at the Bridge, they have so much in common.  So very much loved, so very much missed, they left us at the same age and they share the same birthday.

My heart is breaking for you.

Thank you everyone,
I never knew one could shed so many tears, I think the washer must have gone,
both of us sat having breakfast this morning, when hubby suddenly broke his heart,
sobbing, Honey always sat beside him while he was eating, one look and I was away
as well, everyone of our furbabies have been so special, but Honey touch our hearts
in such a way that's hard to describe, from the first day we saw her at the kennels at 9 weeks old  she push her
way out and came and sat on my foot, one look that said, I'm coming home with you, that day on the
Jan 7th as the snow was falling as we drove home from Wales, she wormed her way into
our hearts, she has seen us through so many trials that came to visit us one way or another.
never far from our sides, kisses a plenty. we are trying to remember the wonderful times we all had
together with beloved Holly and sweet Megan, 
Thank you for letting me rabbit on it seems to help talking to you my friends, because I know
you all understand these dreadful sad feelings.
Thank you Julie for your PM it helped me a lot
I'm glad to say that Megs is coping well and not looking for Honey we let her see Honey after she had gone
I think that may have helped...read some where that it helps them to know and not go looking
for their friend.

So sorry to read about your dear Honey. Having lost my dear Maggie 3 weeks ago I know how awful it is. I have Jessie who is finding it hard as she is a nervous ex puppy farm girl wh on relied on Maggie a lot. Just keep thinking of all the happy times.I keep going telling myself that Maggieis now withFraser- my late husband who loved her so much.

So, so sad for you.   I know how it feels, and only time can heal. I can still well up after losing mine two years ago, it broke my heart.  Your vet is kind person, they have a terrible job which  we all forget about when we complain about them .
