18-03-15 Megan is an 18 month old Cocker Spaniel. She currently lives in a world of fear. She does not look up - she is frightened of what she might see and she has nothing to look forward to so she hides, head down and hoping that noone will see her. She takes comfort from her canine friends and will huddle in close to them, feeling more secure when she feels them close by. There is no light in her eyes, no spring in her step. She is vacant... an empty dog with an empty life. This is where we come in. This is where we can help. We will sit near her, whispering kind words she has never heard before. We will show her nice things to see, let her smell the new daffodils that are blooming and feel the fresh dew on the grass beneath her feet. We will give her a soft bed, good food to enjoy and let her experience a gentle, loving touch. We will give her a reason to look into our eyes and stand tall. We will show her just how wonderful her new life will be - but we need your help. We can't do it all on our own as what Megan really needs is a new home with someone who can give her all this and so much more - someone who can give her their heart. Megan will need a kind resdeint dog to help show her the way and let her learn about housetraining and walking on a lead at her own pace. She will take time, patience and a lot of love....but watching her transformation will be a magical experience beyond compare.
