Bandanas - how do you keep them on front of dog
« on: August 31, 2017, 03:23:58 PM »
The behavourist I am working with with Branston suggested putting Pet Remedy onto a bandana, when we are out and about, but I have one question - how do you stop it moving around rather than staying in the front. I bought one with a collar attached and it is very good, fits well, when it stays in place -  but it keeps riding round to the back of either his ear or back....any suggestions welcomed.

I had thought about sticking some velcro on his front fur, but thought better of it  :lol2:

Simple - tell your dog you want it on their back. Out of sheer contrariness, it will then always be at the front.

Or - you could spritz the knot on the bandana as well as the front, so whichever round it goes, he gets a dose.

I actually also sometimes put pet remedy on the dog or cat - spray on my hand then rub round their muzzle and neck

Thanks for your suggestions, peeps.

I have since sewn the bandana onto the included collar - the collar simply slipped through the hem at the top of the bandana meaning it could move about, so at least it stays still on that now, just got to find a way to stop the collar rotating, probably by fixing to lead :D

Good idea about putting PR directly on to animals, Penny
