Dog Vegas anyone going?
« on: October 09, 2008, 08:34:29 PM »
I'm so excited, I've just entered Ben for Dog Vegas - been wanting to go for a couple of years, but not been brave enough...but this time I'm biting the bullet and going for it.

Watch out Grantham here we come  :005:

Yes we'll be there  :D this will be our 1st indoor show as we only started competing a few months ago & really looking forward to it as we wouldn't have had a show for ages :D
I have been told it can be quite cold at these indoor shows so I'll be well wrapped up with my hands around hot chocolate  :shades:
Hope to see you there

We're going to the same venue a few weeks later too for the BAA/EMDAC one  ;)

Its a dog agility show I believe up North (well North to South Wales anyway!)

The organisers named it as such as when they started out you could win money in some of the classes - quite groundbreaking for agility where money has not been a prize before.

Not sure if they still do these finals / classes but the name has just stuck.

Not sure anything else about it such as where etc as a bit too far up for us!!

Rosie & 4 naughty cockers plus one!

I never really thought of where the name came from  ph34r
Off to look at the schedule now to see if we're playing for money,  :005: if so, then Max can buy his own tin of pilchards  ;)

Yup its time Ben started earning his keep  :005:  I've been told that there is a whopping £12 for 1st place wins!

I have been told it can be quite cold at these indoor shows so I'll be well wrapped up with my hands around hot chocolate  :shades:

We have only ever been to one other winter show and it was freezing, I'll be fighting you for the hot chocolate!

If Ben is an  then hope to see you there
If he is a  >:D then I'm keeping a low profile and will probably change my name!
