As you can tell, there really is no such thing as the *right* weight for a cocker - as long as you can feel, but not, see their ribs, and they have a definite waist, then that's about right  ;)

Molo used to be heavier, as he was a lot more muscular, he has lost a lot of it, but will be building it up again over the next few weeks  ;)
That's what I'm going by. Last time she was weighed she was just over 10kg. But she has been getting a lot more high impact exercising and off the lead work, so has put on a lot more muscle since then.

She does have a waist, but because she has wings (scrawny skirt ;)), she looks fatter. I'm about to take the scissors to her though and tidy up all her scrawny bits. Wish me luck

Honey always looks like she's gone on a crash diet when she gets wet!!!  ph34r  :005:

I am a bit paranoid about Honey's weight, as she is quite stocky, but she does go in at the waist (from side and top view) - she is very muscley over her back (I think it's all the huge sticks she carries around!!), which makes feeling ribs high up quite tricky, but they are definately there...

At her 1 yr boosters she was about 14.5 kg, but the vet felt her all over and didn't comment that she seemed overweight at all...  :D

Jack's 9 months and 14.7kg, he is pretty tall for a cocker though.  He looks really skinny though and if he gets wet he just disappears completely. Vet thinks he is a good weight so Im not too worried  :D

Misha 16 months is 13.5" at the shoulder and at last weighing was 8.5kg
Roly at 10 months is 17" at the shoulder and is about 11kg (he still has some filling out to do) and I think his adult weight will be about 13-14kg provided he doesn't grow any taller.

Rodaidh was at the vet yesterday for a check up, he's just over 16" to the shoulder and weighs 13.5kg. I haven't weighed Tilly for a while but she's 18.5" to the shoulder and about 17-18kg. Neither of them carry any fat, they're very muscular. Tilly is built like a brick you-know-what house :005:

Woofie was 19kg when he was at the vets last (he was 23kg a couple of years ago). He is 10 in May.  I don't think he is overweight tho, perhaps a bit stocky?

Now Maddie is 10kg and I would say could do with losing a kg or two!

I don't think Woofie looks overweight Lisa, he's in good shape :shades:  Tilly was well over 20kg when I got her, she was a right porker :005:

Its amazing the variation in size/weight but it goes to show what I already know - every cocker is unique  :luv:

ETA thanks for the reassurance about Woofie  :luv:
