Hannah once said she expected flies to be buzzin around Daves' head he smelled so bad one time, well i think he has met his match  :005:

Just spotted that   I didn't say I expected him too... he does actually have flies buzzing around his head at times in the summer when he's particularly 'ripe'  :020: :020: I have to say he has improved a little since he was castrated and regular baths help too ::) But he totally totally reminds me of 'What a mess' the pedigree Afghan pup that disapointed it's breeder and crufts winning mother that Frank Muir wrote children's storys about. What a mess was constantly grubby, had flies buzzing around his head and things stuck to his coat and twigs wound into everything too... but was a very happy soul and totally oblivious to the effect he had on everyone :lol2:

What is it with all this "ooh smells like honey"   "mmmm, smells of popcorn"    I don't get it  :dunno: you are all so lucky

I must have the stinkiest girlie known to man,her ears are stinky(but spaniel stinky iykwim),her chops and breff are a bit stinky  :shades:

I think her feet smell of a hamsters cage, let alone digestive biscuits  :lol2:

i think I am lucky as Hamish smells lovely all the time!

I know what you mean about the biscuit smell, a bit sweet and also a bit animal-like!  they also pick up the smells round them so he smells a bit like us too.

Hamish likes it when I sniff his eyebrows, he sits very still and lets me do it, then he sniffs my face!

I spent last night away from home for work and cannot wait to get back to see Doody and give him a masive hug!

Absolutely NO!! It's the non-doggy people and staid doggy owners that need help to learn how to sniff dogs!!  :rofl1:

Chops is a blue roan, and he stinks - bad  ph34r I don't know if it's just because he's old, or it could be that he pees on his feet every time he goes out, oh and he has been partial to a bit of cat poo before now . yuk, yuk!!

Smartie on the other hand smells yummy!! I love the smell of their ears, and that lovely smell they get when they sleepy/just woke up!
My dad likes to sniff their eyes, but I can't say they smell of anything??

William usually smells warm and toasty, but not so good when he starts a lip fold infection. Louis ....... just smells :lol2: He rolls and he eats dead things >:(

My black Cocker, Sam, that I had many years ago, had a very strange aroma, almost metallic, a sharp sort of smell. He used to have his own personal swarm of flies in the summer months :005:

Roxy smells scrummy! I actually like her best when she smells of 'her' and not straight after a bath! her head, on the soft part of her face just by her ears is best (her cheeks I guess!)  I often grab her and just snuffle into her fur! she doesn't mind!

She smells best when she has been sleeping in our bed, she burrows under the quilt and scratches herself up a nest! when she crawls out cos she is too hot she smells of nuts!!

My mum has a blue roan cocker but she doesn't smell nice! she smells like stinky dog! she is fed on Bakers! that might be why!!

I notice that you mention Bakers September; has anyone noticed a difference in their cocker smell when food is changed?
