http://www.caessr.org.uk/dogs-needing-homes.htmlCharlie is a 6 year old Golden working type Cocker Spaniel, who needs a new home mainly due to his owner's daytime work commitments, but he is also becoming increasingly agitated around the 3 year old child in the family. He can be possessive around some of his toys. He can be grumpy at times and has nipped the owner's wife's hand and she is becoming anxious when she is around children. Charlie has a history of slight arthritis in his lower back and is not able to do strenuous walks - although being a working type Cocker he needs more exercise than he is getting at present. He has not lived with a cat or another dog. When on the lead he can launch at some other dogs. However, he is OK most of the time when off lead and comes back well especially if you have treats with you. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods on his own.
