Thank you all so much. Well it's now been a week & it still hurts just as much. I don't think I've ever shed so many tears. We've been at the seaside today with the Grandkids & just know Trixie would have loved it. :(
I'd been sleeping in the living room with her for well over a year due to her worsening doggy dementia. I haven't been able to go back in the bedroom yet, it still feels like I'd be leaving her on her own.
OH has booked us a few days away in the caravan from Thurs but to be quite honest I'm dreading it. We only had caravanning holidays all the time so that we could take her with us. It just won't be the same. I miss her so much.
