Calcium bones advice
« on: July 18, 2015, 08:47:10 PM »
Hi all.

I'm giving my girls calcium bones that they love to chew on.
They say they are good for their teeth.

What do you guys think of them ?
Can they be harmful ie; can they cause diarrhoea??

Obviously we always supervise them when they have them.

Thanks
Nicki.

Don't know if any of these are what BJ's mom is talking about? Imagine it is the hard bones, as opposed to the biscuits.

Not sure which bones you mean?

Have your girls had diarrhoea after chewing them? If not, then I guess the answer is no :dunno:

If it is the ones I am thinking of, they appear to be bleached, and possibly prone to splintering.  Wouldn't be something I would personally choose.  My opinion only though.

Could you post a link to the product or one like it.

From Raw feeding, too much bone in the a Diet results hard, white chalky poo and not diarrhoea, so I'm not sure if these bones are good or not :dunno:
