Hallo from New Member
« on: July 28, 2015, 02:49:19 PM »
Hallo, my name is Lesley, I live in Scotland, and we are getting our new puppy next week. I had a spaniel as a child, he lived to 18, then when married we had a parson jack russell, five scotties, and two cockers. We lost our lovely Milo in January, will put piccie of him on Rainbow Bridge.

This is the longest we have been without a dog, the time has come to try and heal our broken hearts. We collect this, little chap next Thursday, we havn't named him yet. It's been 15 years since had a puppy, so a bit of trepidation! Have really enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to being on this helpful and friendly forum.

Hi Lesley and welcome.

I think we can all relate to your journey and loss of Milo, he looked a wonderful boy.
I can only say how lucky your new puppy will be to be with you.  He will bring  renewed happiness and joy.

We brought Dylan home on Thursday, and. He walked in as if had always lived here. It was over two and a half hours drive  and he sat on my knee good as gold, no sickness, no struggling or stress.  He's been eating well, no trots or sickness, no wingeing. Took to his crate like a duck to water, got it next to the bed, where Milo, used to,sleep. As we go,away in the van and he wou.d sleep with us anyway, it seemed pointless to,put him in the kitchen. A tiny winge and he went to,sleep. Took him out in the garden at 4 am, then back in the crate no bother. And so far the same for three nights. Can,t believe my luck. Is he lulling me i to a false sense of security??? He is such a happy little chap, taking everythingin his stride, I am quite besotted :-)
