Title: Eeeeek!
Post by: Rachel on October 21, 2015, 04:03:38 PM
Hello everyone!

I'm Rachel and I'm from Derby in the East Midlands.
I spend my days surrounded by dogs (in a pet shop) and have grown up personally with a black Labrador called AJ whom we lost a year ago at the grand old age of 14.
I've recently got married and we have now moved into our own place and I find we have put a deposit down on a black and tan cocker spaniel puppy whom we have christened "Flash" (after the TV series...)
We already own a netherland dwarf bunny called Hulk and are both really excited to be starting this new chapter in our lives.
We should be picking him up at the end of November and have already started picking up bits and pieces.
I look forward to meeting you all and learning from your experiences!

Great choice of colour (although I'm a little biased...).

You'll have lots of great years with your little bundle and this is a wonderful place to come and ask questions.

Look forward to some photos as and when.

Hi Rachel, welcome aboard.  Flash is certainly a good description name choice for a spangle.

Hi Kate!

I've never actually seen an adult black and tan cocker in person! I've been googling pictures to try and see what he will look like! We mainly have black ones in work and all Flash's siblings are tan!  :luv:

Hi Lorna!

I've had a lot of people telling me different things to think about a cocker personality so I'm looking forward to discovering which are actually true!  :D

Hi and Welcome  :D

I've got a Black and Tan too - Rory who is now 9 months as well as Pippa (2yr blue roan). Be prepared for lots of people stopping you to comment on his eyebrows and ask what breed he is  :005:

Can't wait to hear all about Flash and see some pictures too!

Hi Emma, yes I hear the eyebrows are quite something! I have a couple of pictures I will post in the picture section that the breeder sent to me! - Well I would but I'm not sure if you can post pictures of them under 8 weeks of age!

Hi Mark, I can't wait for christmas! Not too sure what you get a puppy for christmas as all our stock seems to be aimed at adult dogs!

How exciting for you!
Monty loves nothing more than a sock! And copious amounts of tennis balls!

Love from Polly and Monty!

Gemma owns more socks than me and she just loves playing "flash the pants at the postman"  :013:

With three cockers we are a non matching sock household 😌.  Charlie has a habit of also swiping tubes of cream ie: hand cream and lipstick from daughters bedroom 🤔🤔  :005: :005:
