Lenny is a 1 year old cocker spaniel who is going to need a very experienced home. Lenny has guarding issues and is currenlty being helped by a behaviourist which has worked wonders for his behaviour and will need to be continued in his new home. Lenny came to us from another rescue who used kennels and poor Lenny was depressed and shutting down. He has not had a happy life as he was crated for the majority of the day by his first owners who were out of their depth with him, explaining lots of his behaviour. Lenny needs to go to a home with no children or older sensible teenagers. He would would suit a home where is either the only dog or with a female that is in charge. He has no issues at all out of the home and is good on the lead with good recall. This boy is still a baby and his behaviour is simply due to not being taught how to behave as a puppy. He has improved a huge amount is foster and there is no doubt in our minds that he will go on to become a good member of the family in the right home. Lenny is neutered, chipped, vaccinated up to date, wormed and flead and is in foster in Somerset
