Well done you!  MT's are overwhelmed just now, there are so many dogs in at the moment, suspect it is the after effect of the Panorama programme.  Anyway, I was at the centre just over a week ago, as we were down that way on holiday.  It is so busy, and there are lots of adorable cockers, all at various stages, had lovely cuddles with some, and unable to get near others.  So pleased you are giving this wee one a whole new life.  Thank you. x

Had the Home Check yesterday and all good. She has been cat tested by MT and no sign of problems. Just need to ring tomorrow afternoon to make sure her operation has gone OK and then off we go. Can't leave until the chickens have been let out on Thursday morning (5.30am) and need to be back to lock them up in the evening before it gets dark (10.00pm). Two drivers and lots of coffee. Fortunately the quickest route is the nicest - down through the middle of Wales rather than using the motorways.

MT do seem to have had a sudden rush of dogs generally and cockers in particular, all looking for somewhere to call home. It will be interesting to see MT as we picked Buster up from a foster carer. The office is running a sweep stake on how many we will really bring back with us!

Well, she is home! Left North Yorkshire at 6.30am and got back home at 8.30pm after a 425 mile round trip.

Little Chelsea is now called Annie. She was incredibly good on the trip back and just lay down in the crate. We were quite prepared (and had packed for) screaming, terror and double ended evacuations but she was so brave and good all the way. Buster decided that he had to sit up and watch everything both ways and so by the time we got home he was literally falling asleep on his feet, poor lad!

Annie is absolutely adorable and has so much to learn.

I will try to organise some photos over the weekend, but for now need to catch up my work from yesterday.

Thanks to you all for your support and good wishes.

Rodney

Welcome home Annie. :luv:

Cant wait to see photos

Must admit there are some lovely cockers on MT, one on Wirral is a lovely boy, but my Ollie is not the nurturing type sadly.

Well done for rescuing little Annie. I have Maggie from Dogs trust Bridgend and Jessie from Many Tears. They are such dear girls who like all the others have suffered so much.
Have a very happy time
