Everything crossed that the lump is benign and no more surgery for Rosie.   Hope she is feeling a little brighter today, despite the heat, and her appetite has returned to normal now.  Sending

We have been to see our vet tonight for Rosie's stitches out. As soon as I walked in my vet said it was excellent news that Rosie's tumour in her ear is benign.

Unfortunately she now has an ear infection, which may become an ongoing problem, due to him not being able to get it all removed. The only solution is an ear canal ablation, which is a big operation, and one that I really don't want to put her through at nearly 13.

She has some ear drops for the next 10 days, so we will see how she gets on. As she is so food orientated she's a good girl having her drops put in and ears cleaned as this means a biscuit

Sorry to hear about Rosie,s problem, but glad the tumour was benign. When Milo went deaf aged around 11, there was talk of ear canal ablation, and Imreally did not want to do that. We managed him on daily cleaning and drops for the rest of his life, he had to have his ears flushed under GA a couple of times, but otherwise we managed. Sure you will be able to keep Rosie comfortable too  you must be relieved though
