I keep receiving emails to notify me that there is a reply to a topic that I posted on.

I have ticked the box on my profile to say that I don't wish to be notified but it still keeps happening :?  :?:

This may be because even though you've ticked the option not to receive replies the topics you've already posted on will probably still retain the old settings, you may have to see which ones are coming the most, find your last post on that topic, edit it then tick the box not to get a notification before you resubmit.
Might work anyway! Untested territory so let me know if it works!

You have to remember to untick the box every time you post (even if you post on the same thread).

But only if 'Notify me on replies' is ticked 'Yes' in your profile.
