Title: Its the little things in life ........

I rehomed Lucy in April and now that she's well and truly settled in the house I decided it's time to start some training with her.

I met a lady in the park one evening who was doing some training with her young pointer and I've started taking Lucy to the same 'school'.

We've only been going for 5 weeks and I am so pleased at every small progress she makes. The classes are a mix of obedience, agility and scent work.

Tonight I'm excited because I didn't think I'd be able to get her interested in a prey dummy. However last night something clicked  and if I throw it and ask her to get it she now brings it back to me to get the treats out.

I love the satisfaction of seeing her learning new things and finding out what she's capable of. It's the little things in life that bring so much pleasure.
