Flyball harness
« on: April 12, 2013, 01:00:21 PM »
Sorry, another flyball question!!

Of those whose cockers do flyball, do any of you use a harness? I've been looking for a suitable one for Sherlock, but I can't seem to find one with a handle on top but which isn't too bulky or the wrong shape. My trainer's said make sure you get a Y-shaped one and not one that goes across the shoulders.

Any advice? Thanks  :D

A lot of flyballers get their harnesses custom made from here - very good value, and she will put on a handle if you want one as well as in your team colours.  She'll also do a matching lead if you want one.

I actually have a different style harness only because I find that when the fleece ones get wet they can become heavy.  I got this Trixie harness from Amazon and which has neoprene padding across the front, though the colours are limited.
