There really is no reason why not.  ;) Lot's of people do. It's great fun for you and the dog weather you compete or not. I don't go to loads of shows as I also show my boy Tally.  :D

Dylan & I do agility classes but can never see us competing - but we thoroughly enjoy it and it does his confidence the world of good :D

Nearly Caerphilly - held at Tredegar Park Newport JCT 28 M4) on the 24th/25th July or thereabouts - on the  Saturday/Sunday around that time.

There is an KC agility club and a couple of people doing private agility training around the area if you want to have a go - PM me and I can give you some details

Well done Becky and gang!  We've been doing agility "just for fun" since about last July and our trainer has said that she thinks Tilly would enjoy competing.  I'm not sure if I've got the nerves for it though!  Tilly is an absolute joy to take to agility as she so clearly loves it - so is very vocal though and a terrible show-off!  I hope there aren't points taken off for making a noise and growling at the weaving poles  ph34r!

Maybe we should give it a go - it sounds as though you all get a real buzz from it.  what a lovely result for you all - well done!

Oh Sue you must enter some shows, the feeling you get when you get your 1st rosette is  :D  :D then you go home & look when the next show is!  :005:

One of the most local to you is http://www.baa.uk.net/ & these do lovely shows too http://www.agilitynuts.co.uk/

Don't worry about Tilly being vocal - Max can be just the same & Harry is a very very vocal spectator!

whooo fantastic congratulation to all 3 of you
Bob and i have been going to Agility classes now for 6 weeks and we love it
we had a small comp with in our club, just to end the 6 weeks course.
we joined up with the other class so there was about 10 dogs,
some beginners like Bob and i, and some were novas, a little better than us
we got a clear round and came 2nd

A big well done to all 3 of you, as i know you have to work just as hard as your dogs
