Agility Classes in South Staffs Area
« on: December 26, 2011, 11:41:43 PM »
I'd love to get Toby involved in agility (not for competition, purely as enjoyment/stimulation for him) and was wondering if anyone knew of any clubs/classes in the South Staffs/North Warwickshire areas.  I have contacted agilitynet to ask them for any info but did not hear anything from them.  Thanks.

We used to go to agility in Worcester. I will see if they are still running and message you the details.

Thanks Nicky but Worcester might be just a bit too far.  Looking for something available in Nuneaton, Coventry, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield areas ideally.

Have you tried asking on AgilityNet's Facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=638216824#!/groups/138106032889353/

AgilityNet also have a list of clubs although not all are on it so worth asking on the fb page. http://agilitynet.co.uk/clutch/clubs.htm

Good luck x

Thanks Claire I'll take a look.  I was hoping to hear from them but I will contact them again after Christmas.

Who have you asked? Was it Ellen? She will probably just point you in the direction of their list. I'd ask on the fb page if I were you. :)

Yes, it was Ellen Rocco.  I'll make a post on their FB page.  Thanks Claire.

You're welcome. If you don't have any luck let me know, I've got agility friends all over the country, so someone will know somewhere.

Happy Hounds in Sutton Coldfield is very good, it's where i take Olllie and Poppy for their Good Citizen training. :shades: They do fun agility on a Thursday afternoon if that's any good for you.  :D

Great, thanks again Claire.  I've had to request to join Agilitynet before I can post something so I'm waiting still.

Pam, that sounds exactly what we're looking for.  Thanks.

EDIT: Just looked at Happy Hounds and will email Christine in the New Year.  Looks a very impressive place.

They are really nice people and it's positive, reward based training as well.    ;)

It looks a fantastic place.  Wish I'd known of it earlier I would have put Tobes on the GC (but it's never too late!)
