We had a little black show cocker come on our course and he has done really well. There was also a cocker on the countryfile flyball feature this weekend  :D

We've just started flyball with Sherlock - we're training with Seaford's Fantastic 4. Our first lesson was last Saturday, and Sherlock was great - he's mad about balls and just seemed to know what to do (while I found the whole thing quite a lot to take in  :o)!

So excited though, can't wait for this Sat's session (unless the snow cancels it). I've stopped playing fetch with him, just playing with a static ball now.  I think the issue we're going to have is getting him to return to me as quickly as he goes out - nothing motivates him like a tennis ball, so it's going to be hard to get him interested in tuggy or food rewards.

Sooo much fun to see all the dogs enjoying themselves!

Also it was great to see flyball featured on Countryfile on Sunday - particularly with a little working cocker as the star!

I'd love to get some tips for starters, or links to good sites if anyone has any?   :D

Bobby was exactly the same with tennis balls and he isn't interested at all in treats so I got him a rabbit fur ball and he loves it! My biggest tip is to enjoy it and if he gets worried take it slowly :)
