Rally-O workshop
« on: October 20, 2012, 06:03:39 PM »
Penny and I have just come back from a day's Rally-O in our local dog hall. The tutor was really good. She brought her two deaf collies with her for demonstration and considering there were four other collies among the ten attendees, Penny coped incredibly  :luv: :luv: (she's usually rather wary of collies as they tend to be a bit reactive).

Apparently Rally-Obedience hasn't yet reached Scotland, so our club hopes to start it going here. It's really fun and everything is done on-lead and with lots of positive encouragement, so if anyone is thinking of trying it as an alternative to or change from agility or heel-work, I'd definitely recommend it.

Herself is now stretched out on the sofa, absolutely spark out exhausted!  :luv:

Isn't it fun? Have you tried any competitions yet?

Yes it's good fun, we've actually just stopped though as we prefer agility, Molly didn't enjoy the waiting round for her turn at rally and I think it was just a bit too slow for her!

No agility near enough for us to try it more than a few moves after obedience class  >:(
