Title: Eating Fabric and soft furnishings!!
Post by: lynnemcneil on January 22, 2018, 08:31:10 PM
Ever since we got Archie at 8 weeks he has destroyed every blanket, soft toy, cushion, floor mat, dog bed, rug, towel, dish towel, oven gloves.........the list goes on. He shreds them with his back teeth and also eats pieces of them, which eventually emerge out the other side, not pleasant when you have to assist exit!!

We’ve tried most things to stop this, anti chew spray, vinegar, treat training with objects, giving him in to trouble.....to no avail!!![emoji31]We normally just avoid giving him access to these items as he usually stays in our family room/kitchen area which we live in most of the time. We are getting a new pup soon and really want her to have a bed and toys, normal fabric things in her life!  As it is, if we leave a crate open with a bed in he’ll be off with it and destroy it!! We’d also eventually like to allow Archie through to our lounge.

Help, any suggestions welcome!!!
