Hiya
Well I'm doing OK with Dylan & his coat king & hes looking reasonable lol. My problem area is his forehead, I can't use the coat king there & yet if I try to strip him I only get a few hairs at a time. He's coming up to 8 months now, when you hand strip should it come out in clumps when it's ready or are these few hairs all that I will get?? I reckon it would take me weeks to get him smooth looking :( I've got thinning scissors, should I somehow be using them??
Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hi,
You will have to persevere at the hand stripping in this are, you will only get a few hairs at a time, just keep on going for as long as you can.

If you mean the little white hairs that grow on the stop (area between the eyes which goes up to the skull), then you would pluck these out by hand using your rubber gloves/thimbles. You could also use a stripping stone (bit like a pumice stone) here if you find this easier.

No not necessarily - several of our dark blues grow white hairs on their stop which I pluck out leaving the dark hairs underneath.
