Because the weather is warm at the moment we've been leaving the patio doors open for the dogs to go in and out when they want. After being outside for a while, Joey came in and sat in front of me just staring so I knew he had something in his mouth. He wouldn't drop it so I had to bribe him with a treat and it worked straight away and he dropped a stone so I picked it up and chucked it back in the garden where we have a gravelled area and went and sat back down, thinking no more of it. A few minutes later Phoebe sat in front of me with something in her mouth, it was the same stone !! so once again I chucked it outside on the gravelled area quite far away, and would you believe it, she found it again and brought it back. She did this quite a few times, sniffing just about every stone until she found the right one
She's got a great sense of smell but it's really frustrating when walking in the woods coz once she's got a scent she's off, but always reappears a few minutes later
