Its lovely to see all the hard work pay off and for such a lovely girl to emerge. Lovely to read her updates.
Proud to be owned by a cocker spaniel.

She is a beautiful little girl,      I keep a journal on Amber ,
My daughter in law bought me the book and I have written in it every now and again throughout
Her now nearly six years.
It's comforting to me to read it now because Amber was such a HORRAH as a puppy it makes me
Happy now to remind me of how she has turned out.
She is a nervy dog , always has been right from the start of us having her at nine weeks,
She still has her grumbles but on the whole has turned out to be lovely .

Well you two are a match made in heaven.   :luv:
Meg is just beautiful, and doing so incredibly well. I think she has come such a long way in a short space of time, it is amazing.
Is Megs car crate removable?  Just wondering that if it was left in the house with a wee blanket in it and she was able pop in and out of it, get familiar etc. if it was put back in the catr would she feel more comfortable as she already knows her car crate?  (not sure that all made sense!)

Lovely pictures of a beautiful girl, you must be so proud of the change you have made to her life.

Good idea re the diary too

Megs is just gorgeous and you can tell by her expression how much she is now enjoying her life. It's not so long ago that she was cowering in the house ~ now she looks around the garden from 'her' seat as if she was the princess of her territory. It'll be 'Meg's Garden' next.

Love the idea of a book, especially with photos. A fabulous memory to look back on and make you realise what an incredible achievement you made.

How about: 'Miracle Meg: from puppy farm to forever home'?

Hi everyone Meg's here again.  :lol2:
Sorry I have not had time to pop in for a few
days as I have been enjoying myself, well most of
the time, had a few scary times, like when the people
several doors down to where I live were putting up
new fencing and making lots of bangs and talking
in very loud voices, it made me nervous so I stayed
in doors most of the time,
I have not been out the front door yet, Mum thought
it was better for me to get over my fright I had the
last time, before we tried again.
Mum went out on Sunday morning and came back with TWO
new toys for me, one is a large rabbit almost as big as
me... :005: mind you I soon put him in his place. ;)
shook him all around the room  :lol2: he just gave in  :005:
the other toy I really love it's got lots of different coloured
pieces all tangled up in a ball with another ball in the
middle of it and it's on a rope handle. I ran around the
room this morning dragging and shaking it by the rope.
Mum tried to keep me quiet as it was just gone 5 am  :005:
I woke Mum up again at 4...kept jumping up by at her side
of the bed.....Dad just puts his hand out for me to lick
Mum strokes my back  :luv: that, in the end she gives in
when Honey joins in as well,  :lol2: and gets up.
Mum says she  has printed out my diary and I have a blue
file with my name on it and I am going to have my photos
in it as well.
I have grown and filled out....(Mum said this) ....and put on
some weight and my coat is nice and shiny also.
I have now been here with my family 10 weeks and I know they
love me very much, because they never get cross or shout
at me even if I do get a little madam and keep barking  :lol2:
when they tell me to be quiet. will they never learn
we girls are never quiet  :005: :lol2: :lol2:
I did get frightened yesterday though as Mum had put lots
of boxes piled up in the hall ( by that front door ) :o she said
they won't hurt me as she is going to sell them at a car-boot
on Saturday, Dad is going to look after me for the morning.
while she is out,  :luv: my Dad even though I bark at him
when he comes into the room, sometimes I start barking
when I hear him coming down stairs .... :005:
Mum said I am now growing big so she has dropped
my meals down to three times a day but I do get plenty of
treats as well...love my carrots.....Had some stuffed into
my new toy, (the one with the rope) so they spilled out as I
ran and played with it...better than my Kong as the fall
out easier  :lol2:...
Well ot much more news except I am happy and now
of to find Honey so we can have a game chasing up and
down the rooms.....You know I have learned I can always
win Mum over by doing my cocker bum waggle and smiling
then she says" Meg's are you smiling?"
 :luv: to you all
   :luv: :luv: Meg's
