Hair On Head Cut By Vet :(
« on: August 14, 2005, 01:40:46 PM »
I have a query.....

Sally had a lump come up right on the top off her head, we took her off to the vets who said "well you are right its probably a cyst" She loves playfighting with our 4 month old kitten "but it might be a tumour, puppies can be prone to these" Sheri is trying not to panic at this    "but dont worry they are usually benign" This does not lesson my panic  :(
The vet gave us antibotics and some hibiscrub to clean it and sent us off, 10 days later we return, and it did look much better, it had scabbed over, so the vet pulls the scab off  :o  Them she cuts all the hair off from around it, and says " well it looks like we were right, it looks like it was a cyst, its clearing up nicely, just keep up with the hibiscrub and come back in a week for a final check, which was friday and thank the heavens Sally is fine it was just a cyst. But now she has a bald patch in the middle of her head, and she was really starting to look nice, she has a gorgeous face and head, yes I know I'm biased  :P  :D .
Now comes the query, does this mean that I wont be able to carry on hand stripping her head? Will it have ruined the way the hair sits on her head?

Sorry I know I have rambled, but that was always an annoying thing I did  :D

Sally is your orange girl, isn't she? You might be lucky because I can still strip Vegas' head even though he has been clipped several times now. I can't do the rest of his body but his head seems to be the least affected.
