had to be a cocker spaniel..trapped for 3 days
« on: February 06, 2018, 07:46:23 PM »
Well bless him Spencer a black cocker spaniel who entered a underground drain in a park in Abingdon 3 days ago has been rescued.

Over the years I have noticed it's always our fury cockers who as we know find the mischief, they seem to be lifted off cliffs and detaggled out of railing bless em

So glad your back with your loved ones Spencer

After reading the post yesterday about poor little Tanner being dumped in a field, isn‘t it heartwarming to see that there are still people who‘re prepared to give their all to help an animal in trouble?  Well done to all those lovely rescuers!!  :clapping: :clapping:

Ohhh this certainly sounds like something mine would do....
I feel like I am always rescuing Leo from somewhere...
Here's the most recent rescue that went wrong ( I had to be rescued by passers as my mum could drag me out)

Well done to those rescuers !!

3 days  :fear2: Poor little cocker, glad he's ok! They do have a talent for getting themselves into difficult situations, but this was extreme even for a cocker. Owners must have been so scared! Good rescue!

Yes that was such a heartwarming story.  I was delighted to read of Stanley's rescue in The Times yesterday. All the people involved in the rescue were almost as relieved he was safe as his owners.  Lovely to read some nice news for a change.
