Whistler has had his first stripping
« on: August 10, 2007, 03:25:31 PM »
Whistler was so hairy I consulted a few groomers and enede up with one in a village near us (Upham) and he went today, She is an older lady and has been showing dogs and grooming for years, she said as he was a pup she would not "do him in 1 go" so i left him there for about three hours.
Collected him and he is so beautiful, nice feet and very full legs a bit patchey but she said she picked him for two hours and he had, had enough and charged me £20. I am delighted with him so far, he will go back again on 7th september for another go and I have been showen how to do it myself as well.
The lady siad that some take their whiskers off to show dogs, I did not want that done, do people really de whisker dogs to show?
Whistler is so much neater and cooler, he is also now a blue roan and not a black doggie with a grey muzzle I am impressed by her care and advice.
