Help.  Darcy (7 months) is turning into a wooly mammouth. He needs a bit of hand stripping and some thinning but I dont want him changed hugely.  I cant find anyone in this area who specialises in cockers and who would understand to go easy on him.  Does anyone have any advice or know of someone in Hertfordshire who they can reccommend.  I have found someone quite a long way away and am due to go next week but I'm feeling nervous that he is going to come back looking like someone else...

Have you thought of having a go yourself Lou  :) this thread might help you http://www.cockersonline.co.uk/forum/viewt...wtopic.php?t=71
and there are some good pictures on this site http://www.turmalin.freeserve.co.uk/Cocker...Show%20Trim.htm
If you don't fancy having a go yourself someone else might know of a groomer in your area  :)
