It's cold water outside for mine - they pull miserable faces but as they've usually just been swimming in the stream or the sea I think its an act  ::).

I wouldn't be able to get them upstairs to the bathroom without getting mud all over the house or all over me.  They need washing pretty much every time we go out as well, and I wouldn't want to have to clean the whole bathroom every day either.

I bought a hose to do mine on the tap outside after muddly walks as I figured if they could go in icy streams thenthe hose wouldn't be a problem.......how wrong can one person be, first time I put it on them the next door neighbour came round to see what was happening.  The noise was terrible, needless to say they have been enjoying the comfort of a nice warm bath ever since, another big softee here too.   ::)

Mean mummy here.......our dogs are always hosed outside regardless!!

I've never actually shampoo'd their entire bodies; I washed the end of Domino's ears the other day & on that occasion did use warm water. ;)

I couldn't hose my 2 down in cold water.... I wouldn't have a cold shower myself and wouldn't dream of doing it to my dogs. We've actually bought a shower mixer which my OH is going to fit outside so they can be washed in warm water.

I put the hose on Quincys feet at the stables once only and his little face and the uncomfortable shifting about made it obvious he wasnt happy atall!  hell always get a warm shower and towel dry some times a a blow dry which he finds highly amusing! after muddy walks, but like others say maybe im a softy with him but im assuming standing still in the bath like he does means he much more prefers that to the stables experience!

Ok Im going to confess all - we have had both a cold and hot water tap put in outside with a mixer to we can bath the girls outside. Not that we do yet as we still have to find an old tin bath!

my thoughts exactly.... :005:

Jarv makes less fuss with the cold water from a hose or a rinse off in a freezing stream than he does in nice warm bath...figure that one out  ::)

Mine would be horrified :005:

Same here.  I think my 2 would leave home if they didn't get their bubbles and toys in the bath  ph34r
