I have a cocker spaniel who is about a year old (Odie). He is great with traveling in the car and loves to go for car rides. I was wondering if anybody has had any experiences with flying with their cocker spaniel on an airplane? I would really like to take Odie to visit with my parents, but they live about 2000 miles away and we would need to fly. Do airlines allow dogs between 20-25 lbs in the cabin? I don't want him flying as cargo. Also, does anyone have a dog carrier for their cocker that they particularly like? I've seen backpack type carriers that carry animals upto 20 lbs or so.... but none seem to be suitable for a 20-25 lb cocker! Any comments would be appreciated!
