Where can I buy a CK that I keep reading about? They sound fabulous and just what I need as Charlie is turning into a bit of a 'fluff ball', bless him.  No such problems with Cagney, his coat is a dream.

:D   No bother, Janet!  I have no idea how it actually works, just know that it does.  You drag it through the coat in the direction of the hair growth and out comes lots of fluffy fur :D   It does cut the coat a bit though so I don't think it's generally reccommended for people who plan to show their dogs.  It does just the job I need though.

Morgan gets brushed every day (sometimes 3-4 times for the ears   ) and his feet trimmed once a fortnight but I don't use the coat king every time I'm grooming him.

Over the past couple of weeks a few people have said they thought that Morgan was getting fat.  I only weighed him two weeks ago for his wormer and he was 15kg - okay I thought.  Then today he had a bath and coat king came out - well he looks so much thinner without all that curly thick fluff on his back and round his rear end, it's amazing  :P  Took him down to see Eric's mum and she didn't think it was the same 'chubby' cocker she'd seen yesterday  .  If you're not planning on showing, just want to keep your pet tidy and looking like a cocker you should definately get one  :)

Thanks Shirley, am ordering right now.  Know what you mean about a 'chubby' cocker!!  I wish it was so easy to lose weight by just having your hair cut!!!

PS You are a lovely lady too!!!

Hi Majorarchie  :D

The coat king with 26 blades is recommended for the cocker spaniel.

I just happened to be online at the time (work's very dull today   )

Do you mean thinning scissors? Again Diamond Edge can help you out

The Roseline brand are thought to be 'best of breed' - they're not cheap, but I got some recently and they are very much worth the expense  :D

Just bought the coat king and its fantastic—so how do I stop myself becoming addicted to it before Wilf goes bald LOL
