Scissor mishap
« on: January 14, 2009, 08:58:44 PM »
Just been trimming one of my dogs feet and sliced my finger with the thinning scissors. Blood everywhere,  ;) Well a bit of blood anyway, so feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight.  :'( Carried on afterwoulds though as I couldn't leave her with one fluffy foot.  :005:  She was being so good as well. It wasn't even when I was cutting with them. I was getting the hair out so I could continue. Is there a knack to this as I only have 7 finger and 2 thumbs left.  :005:

Oh poor you! :o

See what we mummies have to go through for our little poopies

I hope she gave you some cocker kissies to make it better.

:005: No she made her escape. Not a Cocker kiss in site. I think she felt it some kind of justice for making her have it done. She prefers snow shoes I think. She is usually very loving and picks up on it if I'm distressed. She just couldn't miss the opportunity to escape.  :005:

I had an unfortunate mishap with a pair of scissors last year.... managed to stab myself in the leg, right through my jeans into my calf, I had to have a tetanus and weeks of AB's and still have a nasty scar to prove it  ::)

To remove the hair from the blades - try blowing it out ;)

Oh god. Thats sounds terrible. My little slice seems tiny in comparison. I will try that cheers. I am starting a Grooming course in Feb, so hopefully they will give me some tips on how not to cut all my your fingers off.  :005:

Cheers. These obviously are. I got them for Christmas and they are miles better than the cheap ones I had before, but obviously miles sharper as well.  :005:
