Maybe you should keep both the norty black cockers in a box? Only letting them out into the garden, then putting them straight back?
Tho I expect they'd still get into trouble if they anything like mine!

A double page spread!  :shades: Hopefully it will help keep other doggies safe now, I'm going nowhere our usual reservoir walk until the snow has gone.

I'm really pleased you got on the front page (although I wish it was for something not as frightening).
It'll be nice if the men got in touch, and even if they didn't, then they can read that Tia (and you and the Duglet) are all ok now too  :D :D :D

On a similar topic, a man died today when he went out on to the ice to try and rescue his two dogs (they didn't mention if the dogs died or not) - thinking of him and his family.

Tia was so lucky, and I for one have taken heed of the warning and will be extra careful near ice now!

I certainly hope so, as I have seen loads of people and their dogs on the ice - some were even using a chuckit to throw a ball for 2 big dogs! :o We also saw a man and his son CYCLING on it the other day! Stupid, stupid people. >:D

Thanks! :005: A book about what,though?

They would still get up to something to scare the life out of me! ::) :005:

I forgot to say that poor Duggie didn't create a good impression with the photographer, he was about 6ft 5" or more, and stood over Duggie, who barked and barked at him, then he barked at his camera and the flash, plus the bag of equipment, running towards it all and then away again. The man asked which one was Tia, and looked very relieved when I pointed to the quiet one lying on her back on the couch flirting with him (Tia, not me! :005:), he commented that he was glad it was her he was photographing, and then said "HE can't be in it". :o I wonder why?? :lol2:

Oh no, how tragic. :'( I always said I wouldn't hesitate to jump in, but I have to admit on Wednesday to thinking about what would happen if I did, I imagined myself being trapped under the ice too. Although, if the two men hadn't gotten to Tia, I probably would have tried to get in (I'm terrified of water), but it doesn't bear thinking about. :'(

That has really sent a horrible shiver down my spine, poor man and dogs. :'(

Tia was so very very lucky, I'm realising it even more how close she came. :-\

That is so sad. Fiona's thread has made me really wary about where I let Chloe off-lead just now. Even the sea lochs are starting to freeze over, so I don't go anywhere near the shore at the moment.
