So glad it turned out as it did.

You must be a nervous wreck. We are keeping well away from ponds, lakes etc as I know my lot would do the same.

Try and and have a relaxing night.

Oh my gosh, I almost burst into tears just reading this, thank GOODNESS those men were there to help you. I would have felt totally helpless in that situation and completely panicked. Thank goodness she is OK.

Oh Fiona, i can't imagine how terrible that experience must have been, i was reading about another cocker that was rescued by the fire brigade and found my self thinking what i would do if Lucy went through the ice - my only conclusion was panic, short of carrying ladders or an inflatable boat around there is not much else you can do.
Tia is such a lucky monkey, i guess the lesson here is to avoid water wherever possible in this weather. give them both a good squidge from us and calm down with a mug of hot chocolate

Thank God she is ok Fiona.

Sounds like you are the one who needs something medicinal...............like a very large glass of wine, or your favourite tipple.

So happy the ending was a good one.  :luv:

That must have been so terrifying for you, I am so so pleased Tia is alright and so relieved for you that the two men helped you.  I am sure you will never be able to thank them enough.

I can't believe what I sound like when I screech at Ellie if she goes anywhere near icy water, she just turns to look at me as if she is saying 'what the.....'
