Ruby is not a Cocker..........she's a Womble!!

For all those of you old enough to remember........ Ruby (just 22 weeks old) has turned into a Womble!! Her legs and paws get fluffier each day. We are going on holiday next week, so no time to get her into the groomers. I would like to trim her paws before we go but am scared of cutting her as she is very fidgety. I am a fully qualified human hairdresser, but have never done dogs!!!! Can I trim her with human hairdressing scissors? Any advice/ guidance very welcome.

You can get some little trimming scissors with a round end at pets at home.

I use hairdressing ones (only from Boots) for trimming Fern's feet paws!

I remember the wombles!  :005:

Hmm for a minute I thought someone had put a photo of my 24 week old Toby on here, he is going to the groomers tomorrow for his first time session, and looks just like your "Womble" sorry Ruby.   :005:

I love wombles!!! Now i've got the tune stuck in my head :005: Does Ruby pick up all the litter she sees as well? That's definitely a womble trait that Bella's developed.

Darcey's a bit wombly aswell. She's 20 weeks old so maybe it's an age thing. Could it be the puppy fluff at it's fullest? Also not a fan of having her legs groomed. Our appointment is not til June.

Ive got a 21 month old womble  she looks so much like your little womble , i trim her myself with scissors and thinning shears.
