It's just to get a cleaner, softer nicer appearance. I always used to leave them and then when she was about 11 months I cut them all off I couldn't let them grow back now I much prefer her without them  ;)  In fact my Hubby didn't agree either and now he's like me he prefers her without them  :)

God yes - long eyelashes are the best!!

There is something really nice about long eyelashes - I am biased though, my son has long eyelashes and a lot of people have commented on how lovely they are!   :D

Much to his pleasure!!

I always cut the whiskers off - much softer faces for kissing  :D   I love long eyelashes too - do most cockers have these?  Cooper's eyelashes never grow long but everyone comments on Morgan's - they need chopping regularly or they get out of control

Oh, I couldn't cut Molo's whiskers off; one side are white, the other black; they are part of his charm  :)

I was told to cut the whiskers and the eye lashes, and she looks fine.
