Cleaning Ears
« on: February 13, 2005, 03:36:19 PM »
 Finely has been scratching his ears a lot recently - I normally clean them out with Shaws ear cleaner, however I am not sure I am doing it correctly - how far should you go into the ear - I am at bit apprehensive about going too far, for fear of damaging his ear.  One of his ears sounds like to has fluid (or wax) in it (hope I am explaing this correctly)

I would appreciate any advice.

I would use some normal ear cleaner on a cotton wool pad, gently clean around the ear, let that dry and then use some Thornit. I've used Thornit since Butty was a baby and she has never suffered from ear problems  :)

You'll find this link helpful Thornit
