Puppy food help
« on: August 23, 2011, 06:27:08 PM »
Hi all,

We are set to get our puppy in a few weeks, and the breeder mentioned she could get us a big bag of the food that pup will be on, to save us a bit of money (Pro Plan puppy).  Is this wise?  I'm just a bit worried about agreeing to get a big bag incase pup goes off it, and then I'll have wasted money!  What would you do?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you planning to change the pup on to something else? If you are, I'd just purchase a small bag.

I'd only change food if absoutely necessary.  I'm just a bit concerned about a big bag incase pup for some reason doesn't like it or has tummy upsets with it.  She can only get a big bag cheaper, compared to getting smaller bags.
