Hungry puppy

badger is 11 weeks old..working cocker and is always hungry on the lookout for food. eats snails and stones from the garden..ive been worried about this making him sick. is it a puppy thing? will he be ok?

hes still on puppy food 4 times a day.

You need to watch him regarding eating snails, as he could pick up lungworm. Puppys are always hungry especially cockers   :005: does he get any treats in between his meals?? if not try him with raw carrots  or puppy bonio biscuits. x x x

All Theo we have a field spaniel(at 13 weeks) she is a pig...She will eat all hers up with in second and go for the other dogs food as well(so we have the bowl with the humps) to slow her down from eating to fast...I would not worry ...

But please do not let her eat snails/slugs....

Cockers can be a lot like labradores with those big inocent brown eyes looking at you for more food.

Ideally a dog should be fed 2-3% of its own body weight for a good amount and no more though for a puppy its a bit less from what I understand.

Millie is a glut as well :>
