Yes, Petplan premiums do go up every year, but that will happen whether you make a claim or not - it's just the way the insurance game works! We have used Petplan for years and never once have they quibbled about a claim - they have paid us out thousands of pounds over the 3 1/2 years that our darling Cassie (GR) had epilepsy. Our premiums were £42 a month, but her drugs alone cost over £60 a month at the beginning of her illness, and at the end £160 a month. That doesn't include the regular blood tests she had to have, and the specialist treatment. They even paid out when she had to be pts after an accident in July this year. So, I'd say go for Petplan. The premiums for our Ozzy (18 weeks old now) are about £27 a month and we are fully expecting no problems when we make a large claim for Ozzy's op to remove his eye.
