We took Charlie (6 months) to the Fenland Country Fair today. We sat and watched the dog retrieving from water for a while. It was a competition but it was all very friendly and there were dogs who were amazing and ones who were less so but having great fun! So we decided to give Charlie a go. He was great, a little hesitant to go in water at first but once in bought it straight back and then was very excited to go a second time!! He more or less bought them straight back, although you could see him think about running off, there was no where to go!! A man who sat next to us said he had a lovely temperament and we should work him and not waste him as a pet!! So who knows, may look into some gun dog training. It was a lot of fun :D
