Title: Pete - 2 year old handsome boy at Many Tears

22-10-11 Pete is a 2 year old ex breeding cocker spaniel. He is a little worried about his new surroundings. He really wants to make friends but is just a little unsure of how. He has no idea about living in a house, walking on a lead, playing with toys, house training etc and will need a home with another confident but gentle dog to help him learn about these things and kind and gentle owners willing to put in the time have have the patience to help him learn about the world.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home ex-breeding dogs where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up.

Pete is adapting well to life in a home although still anxious at times he is learning to trust people. He is good on the lead clean in the house and gets on well with other dogs. Can be left for reasonable periods but would prefer to be with his owner as much as possible and will need another friendly dog for company.

What a lovely boy :luv:
