Disappointing when she is available again but in the long run better for the dog than going to the wrong place. The last thing the poor girl needs is to be looking for another home in a few months. Fingers and paws crossed for her.

The adoption process is to find the right match and people pull out for a host of reasons but it's all about finding her the right place.

But I'm please with her process, still small steps but she comes when called even from the garden. And she is slowly choosing to spend more time in the lounge rather than the cage. She will have a home with me for however long it takes to find her the right  home.

25-01-15 UPDATE
Duo is a very scared girl, who doesn't understand why her life as suddenly changed and and everything is so different. Despite this I have seen some progress with her. She slowly spending more time in the corner of  lounge watching what is going on around her rather than hiding in the back of a open cage. She has been clean in the house and has started to come when called to go out in the garden. Yes Duo will be a project for who ever adopts her, and she will need plenty of time to adjust.  But she is so lovely, and is slowly learning than gentle strokes and ear rubs are nice. Today I was so proud of her when we had a visitor she came out of her corner and sat (despite shaking) in the middle of the room to see what was going on. We haven't seen her show her teeth since she has been here but she could if she felt threatened. But she is looking for a calm gentle home that can show her life can be good and give her all the time she needs, she is a beauty and a piece of my heart will leave with her.
