CAESSR - dogs looking for new homes
« on: October 25, 2017, 07:45:33 PM »
Ive just been asked to do some home checks for CAESSR and while chatting to their re-homing co-ordinator have been told of three pairs of dogs handed into their kennels on Sunday.  They have quite a few cockers looking for homes at the moment.

If you are interested please contact the re-homing team through the website as not all the dogs are on there yet.

You will need to be homechecked - the rescue policy is to match the right dog with owner and their circumstances.

It would help if people had details of how to get in touch or see what dogs are needing adoption plus not all dogs may be adoptable at same time as don't they need to assesss the dogs 1st - four paws dogs are put up for adoption at varying rates as some need more time to assess

There is no adoption fee at CAESSR they ask that adopters give a donation of an amount that is affordable.  Once assessed, dogs needing more specialist homes are only homed to fosters or homes very well known to the team.  The website is out of date but then they rehome a lot of spaniels each week and trying to keep on top of the site would be a full time job!  CAESSR have been around for over 25 years now and are dependent on volunteers.  Contact details are on the website.
