I have made contact with them as I really would love to have her.  I live in a flat and the answer was Noooo.  Gutted.  Don't these people realise that it is not the home, but what you do with the dogs in terms of exercise.  Ho hum, I hope she finds a beautiful home.  She has had her leg amputated, whcih is probably for the best.  Please don't keep her in Kennels for too long, this little beauty deserves more.

I would love to take her, was very tempted to call about her today also
Does anyone know how her sight would work for insurance purposes?

I am going to speak to OH tonight about her again see if he will come round - if not then i hope she finds a loving home soon  :'(
Would love to take her on

Ok so i have emailed Many Tears concerning Melissa as i wanted to see what they would say ...
I meet all conditions except for Diesel being 'done' as such

Awaiting their reply to see what they can advise me as i know that they are looking for a very special home for her

Well i have had a reply from Many Tears - they have recieved an application for melissa already and are in the process of discussing suitability with that person - If i would consider neutering Diesel then they would consider my application, and i can phone up over the next couple of days to find out if the application in just now is successful or not and if not can put in my applicaiton to be considered ...

Either way i am glad that little melissa is having interest and hope she finds forever home soon
I would need to discuss with OH  more as he is not too keen on getting Diesel Neutured at the moment with him being young.

I shall certainly keep an eye out to see if the application put in for her is successful - if not then i shall defo speak to other half as i honestly would love to have her so much  :luv: :luv:

Positive thoughts for Melissa  :luv: :luv: :luv:

Well it seems that me and the OH are not going to agree on this one, Tried desperately to get him on side with Melissa and he is putting his foot down   >:D

Said that we were not planning to get another dog til next year and is still making a fuss about Diesel getting done as such.
I personally think its due to her sight as he got a bit upset when we were talking about it and said that we dont know how to look after a pup with sight issues - As i said to him she is no different from any other pup, with her being so young she probably wont know any different and will no doubt be just as mad and cocker like as Diesel is and that Diesel would work as her eyes as such. But it seems that he is not sure about it. I am gutted as i obviously need him on side.

Will be devastated to let melissa go to another home instead of ours but the main thing is that she finds a home.  :'(
He has now kinda put an 'end of topic and thats that' and i had a bit of a moan and cry.
Thinking of throwing him out and taking melissa anyway  :005:
So i am so sorry meilissa but im afraid that i have been overruled... I send lots of love and positive thoughts that you find your forever home soon and im sorry it couldnt be with us. I tried for you girly  :luv:

Lets hope she is reserved really soon  :luv: :luv: :luv:

I know how you feel.  I would loved to have given her a home here, but it is not to be.  Lets hope people can see beyond her sight issues and her amputated leg.  I am keeping an eye on this.  If she is still there in 4 weeks, I am going to have another try with them.
