He is looking for an experienced cocker owner with no children or visiting children. When Joey first came into rescue, he was frightened and snappy. He has some resource guarding issues but his foster mum has worked hard with him and can now approach him and take from him what he is not allowed. In his foster home he is living with three female dogs. Joey is fine but not interested to play so ideally he is looking for a home where he will be the only dog or where there is a steady female dog. Joey is house trained and is quick to learn. He still pulls a lot on the lead. His recall has improved but on occasion he still likes to follow his nose to something more interesting! He has learned how to climb a tree and would make a good agility dog. Joey travels well in the car.
