We did test remedy as an only dog. Although she doesn't interact with the other dogs much she does appear to get her security from their presence and without them just plods along on walks instead of charging around like a proper cocker. Usually quiet when left, she howled if left at home or in the car for a few moments. So although her human bond is really strong she would need another dog to feel settled and get company from when her people aren't around.
