ALFIE
Alfie is a 4 year old Black working type Cocker. He needs a new home as his lady owner has a new job and Alfie is being left for long hours. Alfie would be best suited to a home where he would receive more training and exercise and with a firm owner who could give him clear guidelines for behaviour. He may respond better to a firm male voice. He has become possessive of his lady owner and is possessive with toys and bones. He can be growly, but has never bitten. He is not used to children or cats, but is good with other dogs when outside the home. He is good on the lead if held firmly and he is very good off lead. He really loves his walks and he is a very good swimmer. He has been to training classes and understands "Wait" and "Stay". He has been to agility training in the past and was very good at it. Alfie doesn't like being clipped or going to the vets and has to be muzzled sometimes. He can be left for short periods. He tolerates car travel. Alfie is available in the South West of England.
