I was told by my vet it would either be £24 or £28 depending on the jab, quite expensive I thought, but then again this is the same vet who charges £42 for puppy jabs

£42??

That's extortionate. Mine was £17 or something, and that included flea treatment and wormer.

I can't remember how much Morgan's booster was last year but Cooper had puppy jabs and microchip for £51.  My vet doesn't charge for consultation either, only if you need medication, etc.

I would like to point out though that we are the cheapest in the area :)

It certainly makes you wonder why there should be such a wide variation in charges.
We paid £17 for each of Busters first jabs and I believe that the subsequent boosters will be the same price.

I read in the Times a few weeks ago that booster jabs are a bit of a rip off and that a dog only needs booster every three years or so and it's the drug companies that push for dogs to have yearly boosters so they can make more money.
